(tylko po angielsku) In this course you will learn how to design a course and plan learning experiences for students. This is an applied course; you will be working on designing a course that youmay teach in the future, or work on redesigning a course you have been teaching already. Course design principles will be introduced and explained and will be practiced both in class and in the form of assignments. The result at the end is that you will be able to design courses in which students achieve the learning goals you set, through meaningful learning experiences, making use of the appropriate methods of teaching and assessment. |

Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
(tylko po angielsku) Due to the form of the class two absences in total are allowed. Students must participate and complete all activities to pass the course. There is no option for a retake - what counts is the students’ commitment throughout the semester. Homework grades: 15 % each which makes up 45% of the overall grade Final assignment: 55% of the overall grade 3 home assignments + final project. The final project consists of a portfolio for a course they students would like to design and teach in the future or a project they would like to redesign for future teaching. The portfolio includes all homework assignments, the syllabus of the course and all materials which the students would like to include in their teaching and showcase during this course. All the homework assignments and the final project will be assessed in alignment with the assumed learning outcomes. The minimal score for passing the course is 60%, but submitting all assignments is mandatory. Grading criteria: 60% - 65% 3 66% -73% 3+ 74% - 81% 4 82%-89% 4+ 90% - 96% 5 97% - 100% 5! |
