Urban Regulations and Political Memory: Towards understanding Spatio-Temporal aspects of Urban Development

The project "Urban Regulations and Political Memory: Towards understanding Spatio-Temporal aspects of Urban Development" concerns changes in the conditions of the urban development of smart cities in three 4EU+ countries and in three dimensions: past (history), present (law) and future (geography).

The course will be offered in English and will include 30 didactic hours during the academic year 2021/2022 on Wednesdays. Its first part will consist of 18 hours of lectures, conducted online. The second part will consist of 12 hours of online workshops, addressing issues common to all disciplines. The course will be accomplished with groups of students (at least one participant from each university) producing an essay and presentation on a topic of their choice. At the end of course we plan a small conference (8 hours), organised for its participants at the University of Warsaw. At the conference students will present essays and presentations on the topic, which they worked on.
