(tylko po angielsku) The lecture provides an opportunity to become acquainted with recent, popular topic of social or sustainable entrepreneurship and new ventures in this field. It gives participants possibility to analyse different solutions employed in response to social or environmental needs and problems and ways of transforming these into entrepreneurial solutions. Students, through becoming familiar with relevant literature and evidence from current business, third sector or public landscape can learn about solutions which are most effective and applied globally or their local environment. |

(tylko po angielsku) The purpose of the lecture is to familiarize students from Faculty of Management with current topics in social or sustainable entrepreneurship models The following points and issues are analysed and discussed: • Antecedents for social or sustainable entrepreneurship models • Differences between social or sustainable and commercial entrepreneurship • New ventures in social or sustainable domain • Success factors in social or sustainable entrepreneurship • Social or sustainable entrepreneurship models • The impact of social or sustainable entrepreneurship on local and global environment All the issues are illustrated and analysed with reference to most current and practical examples from all over the world, and adjusted to the specific needs of the participants. |

(tylko po angielsku) By the end of the course should: Knows basic concepts in social or sustainable entrepreneurship models Recognizes antecedents for social or sustainable entrepreneurship in different contexts Be familiar with social or sustainable innovation concept and identify what enhances this innovation Identify social or sustainable entrepreneurship models Recognize how to transform social or environmental needs and problems into entrepreneurial opportunities Be able to design a social or sustainable entrepreneurship model Analyze available sources of information on social or sustainable ventures Explain the role of critical thinking and self-reflection in developing social or sustainable entrepreneurship models |
