Skrócony opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) The course is aimed to provide an introduction to methods of quantum field theory used to describe many-body relativistic systems |
Pełny opis: |
(tylko po angielsku) • Introduction: basic concepts of quantum field theory and relativistic statistical mechanics • Real-time formalism: meaning of Green’s functions, perturbative expansion, renormalization and infrared problems, hard-loop resummation, plasma collective excitations • Imaginary-time formalism: meaning of Green’s functions, perturbative expansion, renormalization and infrared problems, hard-loop resummation, thermodynamics • Effective potential and phase transitions • From Schwinger-Dyson to transport equation |

Efekty uczenia się: |
(tylko po angielsku) The student understands foundations of statistical quantum field theory. The student can perform simple calculations in both real-time and imaginary-time formalisms. The student is ready for further self-education in statistical quantum field theory. |
