Introduction to the main themes of Business Ethics in an explicitly multicultural and international context and examining the critical discussions of the scope of CSR in general as well as many specific ethical issues of international business. |

(tylko po angielsku) 1. Basic concepts and logic of the subject; introduction to the idea of company social responsibility. 2. Leading contemporary themes and issues in the subject; Globalisation; Sustainability and sustainable development; Kyoto. 3. Stakeholder theory; the European Social Model and a comparison of North American and European approaches to the subject 4. Leading approaches to moral philosophy which are of relevance to discussions in Business Ethics; comparison of their contrasting implications in relation to selected controversial issues. 5. Critical analysis of the moral dimensions of a range of micro ethical issues that relate to the financial sector in the contemporary period in particular such as: moral hazard, insider trading, usury and extortion, bribery and corruption. 6.
