The purpose of the seminar is to describe how socio-cultural factors coexist with spatial diversification of the economy in Europe and Poland.

Learning outcomes:

In terms of knowledge, student:

(1) Characterises the structural and gradational diversity of Polish society (K_W04);

(2) Describes the changes in the social structure in different dimensions (K_W04).

In terms of abilities and skills:

(1) Explains and analyses the causes and the course of social processes in Poland in the spatial dimension (K_U01); (2) Participates in a scientific discussion (K_U10).

In terms of social skills:

(1) Properly defines the priorities for action in individual work (K_K03); (2) Independently supplements their knowledge of borderlands of spatial economic and sociology (K_K07).

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

At the final evaluation includes: student involvement, including in particular working with texts, preparing multimedia presentations, set design issues, in addition: the activity in the classroom, developing the theme in writing (an essay) and class attendance.
