Brief description
The course aims to provide the students with a basic understanding of Neural Networks, so they can build and train their own models for Natural Language Processing using Python and TensorFlow. We start with basic concepts to understand the perceptron and supervised learning algorithms. Then, we see more sophisticated deep learning architectures (e.g., Recurrent and Convolutional Neural Networks) with NLP tasks such as text classification and sentiment analysis. |

Brief description
The course is aimed at students who would like to begin their venture into User Experience Design. During the course, the students will be divided into teams comprising of 2-3 members. They will then be developing various projects under professional supervision. The goal of these projects will be to identify various needs and demands users may have. Another goal is formulating various hypothesis (problem solutions) and their verification (building and testing prototypes). Half of the course is done in a lab environment. During their time, students will get to know the design process, techniques and the tools needed to successfully work on projects. At last, the project team will present a summary – a design and a working prototype. Besides theoretical and practical knowledge, students will be acquainted with all sorts of real world examples straight from the world of new technologies and even have an opportunity to discuss with an invited professional. |

Brief description
The aim of the course is to show how the abstract and general thinking begins. The sources which will be analyses are the ancient Greek and Indian philosophical texts. During the course the students will learn the basic outline of the cognitive linguistics methodology as a tool which renders possible analysis how the experiential concepts are consciously transformed in order to express the basic philosophical concepts. The use of cognitive methodology will also create a comparative perspective between these two strands of philosophy, i.e. ancient Greek and Indian ones. |
