Brief description
Since the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Agenda 20130 are addressed to all citizens of the world the communication, education and cooperation are essential for their achievement. Education for sustainable development (ESD) is acknowledge as an crucial factor in achieving sustainability. The objective of this module is to equip students with knowledge of ESD international implication as well as practical skills focused on effective co-operation with external stakeholders and knowledge transfer to business and public institutions. The important part of this module is project realisation. Students will learn the whole process of preparation, realisation and presentation of the project. |

Brief description
The workshop combines various learning and training forms: lectures, seminars and project consultation classes. Each course part starts with an introductory lecture followed by small-group work and project presentations. Main small-group tasks are: - to discuss, analyze and present a case planning problem that depicts a general planning challenge introduced by the lecturer, - to discuss, develop and present a common planning solution to the case problem. Skills to be trained during the workshop are: - problem posing, - problem solving, - discussing & critical thinking, - decision making, - individual work, - collective work, - design thinking, - project elaboration & graphic presentation, - oral & visual presentation. |
