Pełny opis:	The course is aimed at development research integrity literacy by raising awareness of UW AL Master students about research integrity as a condition and part of Open Science in Europe; providing an understanding of principles of research integrity in all contexts of research process, as well as types of misconduct and questionable research practices, from normal perspective (overview of the key documents and bylaws in EU and Poland, and UW provisions) and values perspective, taking into account interdisciplinary character of studies at AL Faculty. The course will help students to do the master thesis research with adherence to the RI principles.
Efekty uczenia się:	• awareness of the principles of research integrity and principles of virtue ethics relevant to RI • understanding research integrity in all parts of research processes (also in terms of Master thesis preparation) • knowledge of the key European, Polish and UW provisions related to research integrity • understanding harmful effects of research misconduct and value of the responsible conduct of research – • general knowledge on Open Science and FAIR principles • skills and ability to identify values and norms in research • skills and ability to recognize research misconduct and seek for solutions in the situations of ethical dilemmas or questionable research practices • critical thinking, analytical and dialogue skills • development of positive approach and understanding about continuous training in research integrity
