Upon completing this course, a Student

- explains the differences between different study designs in developmental psychology.

- discusses the specificity of research involving children.

- defines basic concepts in developmental psychology, identifies key theories and discusses certain classic and recent studies.

- identifies key milestones in human motor, cognitive, communicative, social and emotional development from birth to middle childhood.

Metody i kryteria oceniania: (tylko po angielsku)

Activities (20% of final grade).

Students are expected to participate in group-based activities that will take place during the last 30 minutes of each lecture. A short note written in Moodle will serve as a basis for grading.

Midterm project (30% of final grade).

To be delivered via the Kampus platform by 30th November.

Final exam (50% of final grade).

40 multiple-choice questions with one correct answer, 50 minutes. The exam will take place online via the Kampus Egzaminy platform.
